Side Dishes: Green Bean Casserole
A must for our Thanksgiving meal. What can I say? I'm Southern.
1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 t soy sauce
dash ground black pepper
4 cups cooked cut green beans
1 1/3 cups french fried onions
Mix soup, milk, soy, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in 1/2-qt casserole dish.
Bake at 350F for 25 minutes or until hot.
Stir well. Sprinkle remaining onions and bake 5 more minutes.

I love green bean casserole. I heard a woman on the radio the other day who said that substituting cream of chicken for the cream of mushroom takes the casserole to a whole new level. I need to try that.
